Following the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her funeral on Monday 19th September and subsequent bank holiday, Hamilton Medical Centre will be closed.

Please ensure you order your prescriptions in plenty of time if you are going to run out over the bank holiday weekend.

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the government has confirmed that Monday 19 September will be a bank holiday.

If you have an urgent need, that can’t wait until the next working day, use NHS 111.  The 111 online service offers quick advice and the best options for getting the care you need, including getting a call back from a trained clinician or nurse or booking an appointment in A&E.

For information on how to access your nearest urgent GP service, call you GP practice or visit the practice website.

To avoid any delays in getting your medicines this bank holiday please re-stock your medicine cabinets and order prescriptions in good time. You can order repeat prescriptions through the NHS App or at your GP practice.

Some local pharmacies may have different opening hours this bank holiday.  Search ‘find a pharmacy NHS’ to find an open pharmacy near you.
